Symposium

The 21st JIPA IP Symposium Program

[Theme] "Growing Japanese companies toward SDGs"
- Generating Innovations and Accelerating with IP –

In the era of New Normal, businesses are expected to achieve tangible results in their SDGs initiatives. Japanese companies may have to start co-creating shared values* to help achieve the SDGs. It may help drive the growth of Japanese companies to utilize IP, which is one of the corporate resources, to strengthen their businesses. Now is the time to exert our ability to imagine, generating innovations by entering new business areas across sectors and integrating human resources, goods, capital and information to strategically drive the growth of Japanese companies. We believe that such growth can be accelerated if corporate management starts prioritizing IP. For the JIPA IP Symposium of this fiscal year, we will focus on SDGs and directly discuss growing Japanese companies from the perspectives of innovations and IP.
