論文名	Case Studies Concerning Import Suspension Motions in Japan

抄録	With a series of revisions to the Customs Tariff Law made over the past few years, efforts have been undertaken to strengthen Japan’s border controls. The 2003 revisions further tightened regulations on patent-infringing goods intercepted at customs by making patents subject to an “import suspension motion system” instead of the conventional “information submission system for import suspension measures.” This article summarizes the points to be considered when filing an import suspension motion based on a patent right following the revision of the law.
